CONSTRUCT · DYNAMIC SYMMETRY TOOL

Use dynamic symmetry
as structure, not decoration.

Draw with root rectangles, diagonals and reciprocal relationships in a browser-based geometric composition workspace.

Use the armature as an overlay, snap field, local law or applied partition where the current system supports it.

The geometry remains explicit and editable.

01 · FOUR USES

The same armature
can do four jobs.

Overlay
Inspect the construction without changing the current regions.
Magnet
Let gestures approach valid lines, points, angles and ratios.
Apply
Convert compatible structural lines into real editable regions.
Local armature
Give one rectangular region its own geometric law without changing its siblings.

02 · ROOT FAMILY

Related rectangles,
different tensions.

Root rectangles use irrational proportions such as √2, √3 or √5. Their diagonals and reciprocals generate different families of related positions. Construct keeps those systems separate so you can compare their effect instead of treating “dynamic symmetry” as one generic overlay.

The final poster does not need to display the grid. Open it to inspect how the applied regions, type and color relate to the underlying Root 3 construction.

04 · NESTING

Every region can
have its own law.

Nested armatures are where Construct differs most clearly from a static grid overlay: a child region can inherit the composition, then introduce another system locally.

05 · QUESTIONS

Before you apply
the armature.

Can I use dynamic symmetry online?

Yes. Construct includes dynamic-symmetry and root-rectangle armatures in the browser.

Can the grid become editable regions?

Where an armature exposes a compatible partition, Construct can apply structural lines to create regions rather than only show an overlay.

Can I use a different armature inside one region?

Yes. Compatible rectangular regions can carry local armatures, enabling nested geometric laws.

Does dynamic symmetry guarantee a good design?

No. It supplies relationships and constraints; hierarchy and meaning still come from design decisions.

Choose a relationship.
Then decide if it helps.
