harmonic composition?
In Norma, harmonic composition is a living design language that uses measurable ratios, directions and repeated relationships to organize a visual field.
A ratio defines a division; an armature unfolds it into positions and directions; the composition brings those relationships together as hierarchy, rhythm and meaning.

01 · FIVE LAYERS
Five layers of
one harmonic field.
- Mathematical ratio
- A numerical relationship such as 3:2, √3:1 or φ:1.
- Frame
- The boundary in which the relationship operates.
- Armature
- Lines, points, circles or subdivisions generated from geometric rules.
- Snap target
- A relation a gesture can approach during direct manipulation.
- Composition
- The actual ordering of visual weight, hierarchy, rhythm, color and content.

When margins, regions and type scales share a relationship, the composition gains a recognizable pulse. Controlled contrast—a dominant field, a bright interval or a generous area of space—turns that pulse into movement and visual life.
